SOFT-SHIELD® 1000 Wire over Foam Gaskets
Excellent compression-deflection, good shielding effectiveness, low price SOFT-SHIELD® 1000 EMI gaskets are specially designed for shielding commercial electronic enclosures with tight space constraints or low closure force requirements. They are constructed with fine knitted wire mesh over a very soft urethane foam core. Standard wire types are monel (nickel-copper alloy) or Ferrex (tin-plated copper-clad steel). These gaskets provide exceptionally low compressive force characteristics and greater than 70 dB shielding effectiveness from 20 MHz to 10 GHz. Pressure-sensitive adhesive is available for rapid attachment.
SOFT-SHIELD® 1000 gaskets are RoHS compliant.
