DESCRIPTION: PARKER ROD WIPER: 8600 SERIES:- This specially designed double lip rod wiper provides the ultimate in wiper action to remove foreign material from the exposed rod while still maintaining an adequate lubricating film. It protects both the rod and the primary seal. 8600 Rod Wipers are available in many compounds. The standard compound is 4181, an 80 durometer nitrile material. Other compounds are available as noted in information on 8400 Series seals. Not recommended for use with high squeeze seals such as a PolyPak.
