Newman Saitary Gasket Company announces two new Viton® compounds "GF" and "ETP" made with Advanced Polymer Architecture. These compounds were developed by DuPont Performance Elastomer and are super chemical resistant and will be used to produce standard Tri-Clamp style gaskets as well as special custom molded part.
The superiority of Viton® "GF", which will replace Teflon in most instances, allowing processing operations the benefit of elastomer gaskets for the first time. Viton® "ETP" is slightly below Kalrez in performance allowing assitional chemical resistance where it is required further extending the range of elastomer gaskets for very cirtical sealing applications.
