Type:  IIR

A pertoleum product made of co-polymerizing isobutylene and isoprene.

Usage: Butyl rubber (isobutylene and isoprene rubber or IIR) has a very low permeability rate
(good resistance to gas permeation) and good electrical properties, but poor short term rebound.
