silicone (vmq, pvmq)

Type: VMQ, PVMQ, SI Silicones are a group of materials made from silicone, oxygen, hydrogen and carbon. Silicone elastomers have relatively low tensile strength, poor tear and wear resistance but exceptional heat and compression set resistance.
Usage: Silicone posses good insulating properties and tend to be physiologically neutral. Applications that require exceptional heat, cold and compression set resistance.
