ChromAssure Colored O-Rings
ChromAssure was a method of color coding of O-rings that Parker developed and recommended for customeruse. Parker developed one compound with a unique color in each polymer family, so that the O-ring has polymer that could be identified visually. For example, compound E0893-80 (EPDM) is a purple color, while C0944-70 (Neoprene) is a fire-engine red.

Chloramine Resistant O-Rings, Products and Compounds

Encapsulated O-Rings
An encapsulated o-ring is a two component circular seal with a round cross section. The elastomers impart memory to the seal and are encapsulated in a Teflon jacket. The encapsulation protects the elastomer from hostile environments. Compared with solid o-rings, Teflon encapsulated o-rings function in a broader range of environments.

Hollow O-Rings
Darcoid works with Parker that does precision extrusion and spliced products that offer an ideal, costeffective sealing solution for many applications. These include low-closure force seals, large diameter profiles that cannot be molded, hollow cross-section cord or requirements for non-standard O-rings and other extruded profiles with an inside diameter larger than 2.500 inches.
