What is a TetraSeal®?
TetraSeal is a circular lathe-cut seal with a square cross-section. The TetraSeal is engineered to be a direct replacement for standard O-Rings in most static and some dynamic applications. TetraSeals are available in a wide variety of elastomeric compounds.
TetraSeals have gained widespread acceptance and are used extensively in many industries, including automotive, off-road, diesel engines, medical and numerous industrial applications. The TetraSeal has filled the need for high quality, economical, static seals.
Size Ranges
Standard TetraSeals are manufactured by TechSeal in sizes from 3/16” up to 18” on the inside diameter with standard cross-sections from .066” to .265”.
Dimensioning
When selecting a standard TetraSeals to replace a standard size O-ring, simply choose the appropriate AS-568A related TS dash number shown in the charts.
Finish
TechSeal’s manufacturing process provides TetraSeal that are completely homogeneous, without parting-line indentations, ragged flash extensions or backrind. There are no joints, laminations or voids.
