To fill that demanding job Alexandra Loback has been promoted to President at Darcoid effective January 1, 2021. Darcoid is a private, family-owned seal solutions company that helps make the best working products in the world for their partners. The company is headquartered in Oakland, California with support offices and distribution warehouses across the U.S., Europe and Asia.
With Ms. Loback at the helm, the company will continue to focus on innovation, future technology, and improvement internally as well as for manufacturing partners and customers.
Throughout her career, Ms. Loback has focused on creating a culture of collaboration. With her desire to see everyone succeed, she pushes her management team to work cross-functionally, to seek opposing views and to always comport themselves with integrity and respect.
She moved to Austin, Texas in the early days of Cresttec to incorporate the team into the Loback Family business philosophy. Her energy and focus brought immediate improvement to the operations at Cresttec. Alex’s three years with Cresttec are her “real-time/real-life” MBA.
During her ten years with Darcoid and Cresttec, her roles have spanned customer service, purchasing, sales operations, senior leadership and chief cultural officer. For the last two years, she has been instrumental in the development of Darcoid’s management team, empowering them to evolve, perform and deliver results. As Director of Business Operations, her leadership skills during the pandemic have allowed the company to continuously operate and support our employees, customers and manufacturing partners.
Ms. Loback earned her BA in Economics from Boston College where she was a member of the Women's Crew Team. She is an active member of the San Francisco Chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization and serves as Learning Chair. She lives in San Francisco and is passionate about hiking, music, and bringing out the best in people.
