The X-ring, or, quad ring, is a four-lipped seal with a specially developed sealing profile providing twice the number of sealing surfaces as an O-ring. The four-lobed quad seal design provides lower fiction than an O-ring, and with the squared cross section, resists spiral twist. Molded X-ring seals are available in standard, non-standard, and custom molded dimensions.
